Meet Maggie
Introducing Maggie Davis, our lead Colorado Springs instructor. Maggie is a girl mom to Catherine and Mary Elizabeth, an avid traveler, and lifelong lover of games. Originally from River Forest, Illinois, her journey has taken her from the Chicago suburbs to Ecuador, NYC, and now Colorado—each stop adding a new chapter to her story.
She met her husband Matt, a Colorado native, while volunteering in Quito, Ecuador. After returning to Chicago, Maggie earned her master’s in Elementary Education from DePaul University and spent 10 years teaching second and third grade in both Chicago and New York City before the family settled in Colorado.
Now leaning into the Colorado lifestyle—skiing, road biking, and soaking up the mountain views—Maggie is excited to return to teaching in a new way. She’s passionate about bringing people together through Mahj and creating warm, welcoming spaces to learn and connect.
